WHERE TO EAT: When it comes to food, West Marin has an embarrassment of riches. Here are a few spots to try, but there are many more to discover.
The Coast Cafe: Our neighbors across the street offer fresh local fare in a comfortable setting.
The Marshall Store: Oysters by the water. What could be better?
The Siren Canteen: Tacos and other treats under the lifeguard tower at Stinson Beach.
Marin Sun Farms Butcher Shop & Restaurant: Located in Point Reyes, the restaurant is dedicated to serving local, sustainable meats.
The Station House Cafe: Serving fresh, local and sustainable food since 1974.
Sand Dollar Restaurant: Casual family owned restaurant and is Stinson beach’s oldest established and continuously running restaurant.
Parkside Cafe: Great pizza and bakery in Stinson, the Parkside also has a big patio and snack bar.
DROUGHT ALERT: California is facing one of the worst droughts on record. Please do your part to conserve water by taking short showers, not washing your car, and installing drought tolerant landscaping like the lovely succulent garden above the stone bench at Smiley’s!
