The town of Bolinas is located on the California coast, a 30 mile drive north from San Francisco. It occupies the southern most tip of the Point Reyes Peninsula. The Bolinas Lagoon separates the the small town from its nearest neighbor, Stinson Beach. The sleepy southern exposed beaches on Bolinas Bay are protected from wild surf conditions. Around the corner, Duxbury Reef runs parallel to Agate Beach bearing nearly two miles of shoreline at low tide and opportunities to explore tidal pools filled with marine life.
